Autumn's Breath

A beautiful day hiking near Wisconsin's Horicon Marsh between summer and fall. The end of summer’s wildflowers held fast during strong breezes reminding them summer was ending.

The piece was painted on a 4x4 aqua board with watercolor and a sanding technique. It is framed in a 6x6 black float frame and sprayed with an archival fixative. Ready to hang.
