Queen Bee

 "Reine des Abielles," is an unusual work that pays homage to a vintage stamp from the my grandfather's collection. The bee, sculpted from polymer clay, is positioned as if emerging from the center of the stamp drawn with ink and prismacolor pencil. The legal stamp from the 19th century is also included in the collage.
